The Slim Fast Diet ReviewThe Slim Fast Diet Review

"The basic idea of the Slim Fast Diet is that you have to replace to of your meals in a single day with one of the Slim Fast shakes together with two pieces of fruit and a nutrition bar. Following up the day with a “sensible sized dinner."

Many diets advise dieter to consume vast quantities of vegetables, other say eat tonnes of grapefruit, others will make you eat one type of food for the entire day. The Slim Fast Diet makes you do “The Shake”.

The Slim Fast Diet is very similar to what they are pushing over at Herbalife. So again like many fad diets people who have tried it either love it or hate it. Some people claim they have had wondrous results, while at the same time people preach about the fact that The Slim Fast Diet is a scam and a rip off.

The basic idea of the Slim Fast Diet is that you have to replace to of your meals in a single day with one of the Slim Fast shakes together with two pieces of fruit and a nutrition bar. Following up the day with a “sensible sized dinner”. This means that you can have whatever you want for dinner as long as you keep the portion sizes under control. Sounds good in theory right? Perhaps, however, yo will soon discover that during your dinner meal will be the only time of the day that your body actually gets some real somewhat nutritious food. Vitamins laden shakes will only get you so far.

Aside from the missing meals and replacing them with shakes principle, people carrying out this diet have to ensure they consume 6-8 glasses of water a day (which is a great thing). The diet also suggests that you undertake an exercise regime, however, I am not to sure about how effective you will be exercising while you only consume around 1200 calories during the day. I highly doubt on this diet you will have enough exercise to partake in an effective exercise program.

This diet as you can imagine can become costly after buying all the shakes and power bars, although you save money missing normal meals you still will come out behind.

I don’t agree with diets that restrict your intake of calories to a level where you feel like you have no energy. This diet has no support, its expensive and is not ideal for the long term.
